No obligationTalk to a local provider
Directorlab Tree Service is a referral service for homeowners across the Pittsburgh area. We connect you with independent local tree providers. That is the whole job. We are not a tree company, and we do not own trucks, saws, or chippers.
Tree work feels big the first time. Prices vary. The words sound strange. A storm can drop a limb on a roof, and suddenly you need a name to phone. This site exists to make that first step easier. Ask your question, and get pointed to someone who can answer it.
You send an estimate request. Tell us the basics: what kind of tree, where it stands, and what worries you. Then we connect you with a provider in our network that serves Pittsburgh or a nearby town.
Availability differs from one provider to the next. Request a callback to check provider availability. Many providers can respond quickly, but timing is set by them, not by Directorlab Tree Service.
Ask first, cut second. We expect providers in our network to:
You can always ask more questions and compare.
The provider does all the cutting, climbing, grinding, and hauling. Directorlab Tree Service does none of it.
We also do not set prices, write quotes, or promise results. Costs vary by tree size, height, access, and cleanup. Get a written quote and read it closely.
Insurance is the same story. Some policies may cover sudden damage, such as a tree that falls in a storm. Check your policy. Providers can often help document damage for a claim.
Homeowners are not charged by Directorlab Tree Service to request an estimate. Providers in our network may pay for the referrals they receive. That pays for this site. It does not change what your quote says. Your agreement is between you and the provider.
Think past the cut. A removed tree can leave a stump, a hole, and a yard that looks different. In cold, snowy places, soil shifts with ice and thaw, and wet spring ground can settle. Older homes with stone foundations and full basements may also have roots in tight spots. A good provider will talk about stump grinding, filling and seeding, pruning the trees that remain, and getting ready for the next storm.
Send a short request and a local provider can follow up with next steps. There is no obligation to hire.
